Terms of sale
Last updated 6 November 2026
These terms apply to orders placed through this website. Where you have signed a separate supply agreement or accepted a written quotation, that document takes precedence over this page.
Who you are buying from
Rhinemeter is a brand and export business registered in Foshan, Guangdong, China. The legal entity name, registration number and registered address appear on every quotation and invoice we issue. Our part numbers are our own catalogue references, not third-party brands.
Orders and acceptance
- Submitting the checkout form creates an order request. A contract is formed when we confirm the order in writing — by order confirmation email or by issuing a proforma invoice.
- We may decline an order if stock is unavailable, if the price was listed in error, or if we cannot ship to the destination.
- Online payment, where offered, is collected at the time of ordering. If we then cannot fulfil the order, the amount is refunded in full.
Prices and payment
- Prices are in USD, FOB China, and exclude freight, insurance, import duty and taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Quotations are valid for 30 days unless a different period is stated on the quotation.
- For orders paid by bank transfer, goods are dispatched after funds clear. Bank charges are borne by the payer.
- We do not store card details. Payments are processed by the payment provider named at checkout, under their terms.
Delivery, title and risk
- Delivery dates are estimates based on stock and production at the time of order, not guaranteed dates, unless we have confirmed a date in writing for a specific order.
- Risk passes to you when the goods are handed to the carrier. Title passes when payment has been received in full.
- You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, including contact name and phone number for the carrier.
Specifications and fitness for purpose
Product data, drawings and photographs describe our standard catalogue items. Where you require a part for a particular application, it is your responsibility to confirm the electrical and mechanical suitability, or to ask us in writing before ordering. We are happy to review a specification; we do not warrant fitness for a purpose we have not been told about.
Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the invoice value of that order. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of production, downtime or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. The parties will attempt to resolve any dispute by negotiation first. If that fails, the dispute is referred to arbitration in China in accordance with the arbitration clause stated on the quotation.
